# Natural Stone Exchange — seed catalog v1.0.0

Created 2026-10-28. 13 families, 110 commercial variety terms, 54 product forms, 200 canonical master product pages.

## Contents
- `catalog.json`: all normalized collections, structured filters, SEO fields, and publishing rules.
- `families.csv`, `varieties.csv`, `product_types.csv`, `products.csv`: import-ready collections with stable IDs.
- `internal_link_plan.csv`: graph edges for related products and **proposed** editorial spokes (not actual published pages).
- `schema_postgresql.sql`: normalized relational design for products, verified supplier offerings, RFQs, quotes, orders and commissions.

## Recommended import order
1. stone_families; 2. stone_varieties; 3. product_types; 4. master_products.
The CSVs use the column names in the SQL DDL. SQL jsonb columns contain encoded JSON strings in CSV.
5. Add independently verified suppliers and supplier_products, then supplier_offers; do **not** create fictitious inventory.

## Publishing gate
All master_products start `draft_needs_editorial_review` and `noindex_until_unique_content_and_supplier_evidence`. They are catalog and SEO-page briefs, **not** fully researched articles. Do not publish all pages with templated paragraphs unchanged. Verify actual commercial classification, origin, physical specs, material performance and supplier evidence before indexing. Prices, supplier stock, origin and geological class are deliberately unverified/blank.

## SEO relationships
`product.page_path` is the canonical product page, `primary_hub_path` its stone-family hub (or product category hub for generic products). `spoke_seeds` suggests 3 guides that must ultimately link back to the canonical product page and relevant category hub. `related_product_ids` provides cross-links. Do not index every finish/dimension/location parameter as its own page. Product structured data should not claim offers or inventory without an actual verified supplier offer.

## Data notes
Commercial trade classifications and geological rock identities are not always equivalent. A `variety` entry is a sourcing search term, not evidence of geological identity, quarry origin, authenticity or current availability. ## Commissions
This package models RFQs and commissions but does NOT activate Stripe payments or enforce contract terms. An application should create a commission invoice only from a supplier-verified transaction and cleared buyer payment, with audit logs and refunds handled under signed supplier agreements.
